NOTICE of Salon closure

(May 6, 2022)

Aloha to all our clients: Thank you for the support you had given to our small salon over the years in Kailua. We truly appreciate it as we gave our best to serve the community for about 18 years. We are sorry to inform you all that the salon was closed down before April 19th, 2022.

IMPORTANT NOTE BELOW:

FYI: For anyone who likes to get a "Commercial Lease Space" such as this one, it is highly recommended that you get a "Real Estate Lawyer" to review and go over the "Lease" with you before you sign it. It was a big mistake that the lease at Salon 29 was not reviewed by a lawyer and there were a lot of problems dealing with the property manager and the landlord. Please, do not sign the lease that is not fully understood. Anyway, do not repeat the mistake we did. God bless and take care. PS: Clients who previously came to our shop can still contact us at the same number. We keep it for you so we can share info and good stories.

We are honored to have had
​ Ata Johnson (The Rock's Mom) who first came to the salon for a hair service on October 20th, 2016 (at the time Dwayne Johnson aka the Rock was filming "Jumanji" in the Koolau Mountains).  She's such a beautiful & kind person.  The Rock and his Mom did live in Hawaii and now live in the mainland.  She has returned to our shop many times and the latest was March 15, 2021
